WE had a lot of ex west ham players went on to become manager's of other clubs
Malcolm Allison (Manchester City’s manager),
Noel Cantwell (Coventry City’s manager),
Frank O’Farrell (Manchester United’s manager),
John Bond (Bournemouth’s manager),
Dave Sexton (Chelsea’s manager),
Jimmy Andrews (Luton Town’s coach)
Malcolm Musgrove (Manchester United’s coach).

It's rumoured that a couple went onto manage alcoholism, and the job was too big for them.

Everton’s not really bigger. They’ve just been more successful on the field.
